Journey Youth Ministry Volunteer Role

Purpose of Position (Your WIN) – The Youth team will be working alongside the youth pastor to create a fun upbeat youth experience.

 

Time Commitment – Approximately 1 ½ hours a week. Youth meets every Wednesday, but you can choose which Wednesdays you would like to join.

 

Length of Commitment – Three Months

 

Description – The Youth team will meet 30 minutes before youth starts to set up chairs and discuss the flow of the event.  If a team member is not able to make it on the day of his/her normal rotation he/she may either trade dates with someone else or just notify Crystal Edmondson of his/her absence so she can be sure we have adequate help.

 

Expectations –

  • Assist with set up and tear down of chairs and tables.
  • Help in clean up (sweeping, taking out trash, closing gate)
  • Assisting in planning games and fun events if interested.
  • Assist wherever needed.
  • Satisfactory completion of a background check.


Skills Needed - 

  • Some physical ability needed.
  • Communication is a must.
  • Ability to adapt to last minute changes.
  • Ability to laugh and have fun.
