YOUTH PERMISSION FORM: 2025 Youth Permission Form
Membership Class: December 11th
We will have our winter membership class on Thursday, December 11th at 6 p.m. Attending the class doesn't force you to become a member but gives you all of the necessary information. The class lasts approximately an hour at the church in the kids meeting area. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Kevin or any of our team members. Please be sure to register so we can plan accordingly.

Journey Young Adults (JYA) Christmas Party: December 13th
Please join us for 1st Annual Young Adults Christmas Party on December 13th from 1:00-4:00 PM here at the Journey. This will be the perfect chance to meet new people and celebrate the season. There will be fun games & activities, delicious holiday treats, & a white elephant gift exchange. Gifts should be $15.00 or less. Please sign up on the Church Center App. Registration closes on December 10th.

Kids Sing Along/Ugly Sweater Day: December 14th

Our kids will share a special Christmas song during service, and it’s Ugly Christmas Sweater Sunday!
Grab the kids, throw on your most over-the-top sweater, and bring a friend! There’ll be prizes for the best (and worst!) sweaters!

Youth Christmas Party: December 17th
Warm up those vocals because on 12/17 we are throwing our annual Youth Christmas party. This year's theme: Christmas Karaoke Bash!!! Be ready for games, prizes, food, and best of all Shawn singing a solo for us all!!! You won't want to miss it!

Christmas Caroling: December 17th
We will Christmas Caroling on Wednesday, December 17th at 6 p.m. or 7 p.m. John Ward will have his trailer hooked behind his tractor to pull us through the neighborhoods here in Remington. We will spreading Christmas cheer for all to hear. Please plan to meet us in M. M. Pierce parking lot before 6 p.m. for loading and let us know if you have any questions.

Christmas Communion: December 21st
Join us for our special Christmas Communion Service. It's a great time of the year to invite your family and friends as we celebrate Christmas with a special service that includes a reading for the kids done by our kids pastor, special music, as well as a message that includes multiple speakers and videos. You won't want to miss this service.

Special Business Meeting: December 21st

Our plans for renovations are complete and our budget has been established. This means we need to have a special business meeting to vote on securing the necessary funds for our next step. On December 21, following our last service of the year, we will meet and we are asking for all members to consider joining us. If you aren't currently a member but would like to be, there is a scheduled membership class on Thursday, December 11th where you can become a member.

Digital Devotion: December 28th

We close out every year is a very special service that is actually sent directly to your home. DIGITAL DEVOTION - DEC. 28 - This is our way of giving everyone a little more time with your family for the holiday. Plus, it gives our team an opportunity to reboot as we prepare to kick off the new year. A pre-recorded digital devotion will be sent to you on social media as well as email. You can stay in your pajamas, bundled up in your house with breakfast, donuts, and/or coffee. So, remember, there will be no in person service on Sunday, December 28th. Everyone will watch from home!

Local community partners and churches are working together to provide a heat shelter for the homeless during the winter months. This winter, we’re here to help our homeless community by offering: Safe and Reliable Shelter – A warm space to escape the cold. Hot Meals –Nourishing food to keep spirits high. A Caring Environment– Where safety, respect, and dignity are our priorities. Join us in bringing warmth and hope to those in need. There are so many ways to serve!
