Our annual church picnic is coming up at John and Theresa Ward's house on September 15 following our Sunday service. We will eat, there will be a water baptism and the kids will play on the farm while some of the adults play corn-hole. Brenda Goodman and John Ward help get it all together so if you have any questions you can reach out to them. The church will provide the meat and the drinks but it would great if each family could bring their favorite side dish or dessert.

If you love worship, and ever wish there was more time for worship on a Sunday morning then this is definitely the service for you. The night will kick off at 7pm, and throughout the night the microphone will be open to anyone who may have a word of wisdom, a short testimony, or a scripture verse that God has placed on their heart. We hope that you will join us as we encounter God together!

The Journey always loves to participate in the Remington Fall Festival. It's the one day when the whole town seems to be come together. You can help in a few different ways:
- You may be an early riser and be interested in helping us load the people in as they arrive at the event.
- You may be great with people and want to participate in manninddg the tent, greeting people, having them sign up for our drawing, as well as sharing information about upcoming events.
- You also may be interested in doing some face painting using our stencils and face paint.
Nobody is expected to work the entire day so register for the time slot and job you want to do.

This is one of our favorite services where the church and Parents commit to a partnership to set a godly example in front of the kids God has blessed us with. The children and parents will receive several gifts to make the moment special and every family will be prayed over that day. It takes place directly following worship and before the meet and greet. It's truly a powerful moment to experience.

Our community is planning to host a Turkey Trot 5K run and walk on Saturday, November 23rd. They are looking for people who would be willing to volunteer to help direct the runners along the correct route so they don't get lost. They are also looking for help with registration. If this is something you'd be interested in helping with, please consider registering in the back and we will get you all of the information.
